Karen Maness opens her studio to offer a space for community, learning, expanded direct painting and technical expertise, artist accountability to their own practice, and feedback on ongoing projects.

All attendees are required to have taken a painting course with Maness, ensuring common terminology language and studio culture expectations. Limited seating, booked in advance.

We will expand your art skills with specific focus each session on subjects such as learning to paint glass, fur and metal textures, learning to stretch a canvas and wiring paintings to hang, painting on different surfaces, and mural planning and painting.

The training in Maness’ painting courses provide growth opportunities and a welcome space to both emerging and established artists, with techniques applicable across mediums.

Students joining the Sunday Salon cohort are eligible to display and sell their work during public open Studio Tours at the Karen Maness studio at Art Hub.
